I worked closely with BBC Radio 4 Cambridgeshire to produce some stings over a two year period. It was a pleasure to lend my voice to the morning crew and Paul Stainton.
I learned a great deal about what makes a transition pop and how to grab the ears of the listeners. Bringing my skills into the studio and listening closely to the guidance of both the stations director and Paul as the host opened my eyes to the possibilities of improving my diction and speed.
I hope to bring these new skills and lessons to more commercial or public radio stations in the future. These same skills also translate to the digital space where podcasts are becoming increasingly more popular.
